KADER ATTIA – Jon Thompson Art Center

Urgency of Existence is a solo show by internationally acclaimed French-Algerian artist Kader Attia, celebrated for his groundbreaking work in multidisciplinary art. This exhibition delves into the legacies of colonialism and the urgent need for decolonization, presenting stories shaped by the resilience and struggles of those affected by the injustices of the past century.
Curated by Gridthiya Gaweewong, Artistic Director of The Jim Thompson Art Center and former Artistic Director of the Thailand Biennale Chiang Rai 2023, the exhibition offers a profound reflection on identity, memory, and the process of healing.
The exhibition is on view until March 16, 2025. Don’t miss it!
