In 2020, Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost and Dominique Perrault created the association for the conservation of the Domaine de Frapotel to enable as many people as possible to discover, through the eyes of contemporary designers, an important part of 20th-century architecture.

MESH / WEAVE THE METAL – FROM INDUSTRY TO ARCHITECTURE

Metal mesh is spiral-wound, braided, and knitted. It comes in steel, aluminum, bronze, or copper. It can be used for facades, roofing, curtains, decorations, tapestries, or furniture. Both flexible and sturdy, opaque and transparent, it is devilishly ambivalent and ready to do anything to complement the architect's vision.

In the summer of 2024, Paris hosted the Olympic and Paralympic Games. For four years, from the city's bid in 2016 to the start of construction in 2020, Perrault Architecture was the lead architect for the project management consortium, chief urban planner and designer of the Athletes' Village.
