LILIANA PORTER – Travesía

Liliana Porter is back to Argentina with a major retrospective at MALBA
Spanning from 1968 to 2025, Travesía (Journey) presents a wide selection of works that trace the evolution of the Argentine artist’s practice creating a dialogue between works from her work throughout six decades. Curated by Agustín Pérez Rubio, the exhibition highlights Porter’s deep engagement with printmaking and themes such as representation, memory, literature, labor, gender, climate change, and the absurdity of violence. Twelve years after her first exhibition at the Museum, Porter returns to MALBA with a body of work that is both playful and profound—layered with meaning, humor, and empathy.

Travesía will be on view until October 13.
